Golfers of the Southern Tier,

We are getting into the heat of the competitive golf season here and it is shaping up to be one heck of a summer with fantastic venues and great competition.  The FOX 40 has come and gone with a couple of great teams rising to the occasion in what was a solid field.  Dr. Bill Marusich and Dick Rivanera played fantastic golf to shoot 8 under 64 only to finish in a tie for the Championship with Brian Burns and Wade Minery.  It was yet another fantastic turnout as we had nearly 40 two man teams in the field! Kudos to our Past President and great friend Jake Leet for running a great tournament as well as Joe Mars and the staff at Endwell Greens for providing a very solid golf course and after round experience.

Looking forward the Court Jester TCGA Amateur is starting next Friday with the first round being played at Enjoie Golf Course.  We are very near a full field of 75 golfers and are very excited to have such a large field.  Please encourage any friends you know that are hoping to play but waiting to register to do so now and as soon as we are full we will broadcast a message.  In regards to tee times for the Friday round at En-Joie:

PLEASE CONTACT TIM WOODS AT 607-222-4348 if you have any special requests around the time you start.  It is a challenge to get everyone on the golf course as is and when numerous special requests begin to pour in it only makes life more difficult on us the closer we get to tournament time.  We are going to end registration regardless of numbers Wednesday night so that we can get the tee times on the website and to En-Joie by Thursday.

The Junior season kicked off today with 58 Juniors participating at Chenango Valley State Park! We are very encouraged to have Andrew Strom and Trevor Fiedler heading up the responsibilities of tournament coordination.  They are learning a lot and having a great time doing it.

In other news there is a slight change to the schedule.

The SECOND ROUND of the 2 MAN BEST BALL will be played at Chenango Valley State Park!  We are very excited to play the tournament there and give the Links at Hiawatha Landing a break as they are hosting two other tournament rounds this year.
