Dear Junior Golfer:

The Triple Cities Golf Association is offering a scholarship of up to $1,000 for this year.  The scholarship committee could recommend to the TCGA Board two scholarships of $500 each.  The scholarship(s) will be awarded according to NCAA Bylaw 15.2.5 and Bylaw 15.2.5.4.  Both bylaws deal with eligibility and financial aid from an outside source.

The specific TCGA qualifications are as follows:

1. Demonstrates a keen interest in golf through active participation as a player and/or contribution to the game.
2. Has been accepted at a degree-granting college/university.
3. Achieved a satisfactory grade point average.
4. Provide a written character recommendation and golf achievement summary by golf coach, PGA Professional or owner of a TCGA member club.

The scholarship committee maintains the discretion of recommending to the Board of Directors scholarships, not necessarily based upon all of the above qualifications.
