Each year 4 separate tournaments are held -- a Spring Captain and Mate, the Individual Championship, a Club/Team Championship, and a Fall Better-Ball. In addition, a Player of the Year for both the Seniors and Super-Seniors is awarded. The Player of the Year plaque is presented to the players who garner the most points throughout the season based on an established TCGA Seniors Point System.

The Player of the Year award for both age groups was instituted in 2001. For the second time since its inception, Sam Lewis of The Montrose Club was honored as the Seniors Player of the Year. Sam showed a high level of consistency as he won both the Individual Championship and placed first in the individual scoring at the Club/Team Championship. The Senior Player of the Year runner-up was Dick Rivanera of Traditions at the Glen.
After winning the Seniors Player of the year 4 separate times, Phil Van Riper, playing out of the Links at Hiawatha Landing, qualified as a Super-Senior and won its Player of the Year award on his first try. Phil edged out two stalwart super-seniors, Larry Gresham, Binghamton Country Club, and Tom McCarthy, Endwell Greens, by just 60 points
